In terms of build quality the World Tour drums are a definite cut above Rock Band's, they're also wireless while Rock Band's require a cable (a USB hub is included for those without enough spare ports on their console though). There's a multitude of subtle differences like this that gives each game their own unique character but in each case, neither is really significantly better than its competitor. Guitar Hero Star Power is activated by hitting both cymbals simultaneously whereas in Rock Band, you activate your Overdrive in certain free-style fill sections throughout the song.

Guitar Hero World Tour continues the evolution of the Activision's hugely successful series.
